Fifteen Cornwall to Meet the Media

Pulling together some of the biggest names in food and drink journalism, we were joined by Fiona Beckett from The Guardian, Lisa Markwell from the Sunday Times, Laura Rowe from Olive Magazine and Martin Hesp, formerly of the Western Morning News to discuss all things food and drink trends, and the best way for PRs to pitch products and stories to get their attention.

The Marketing Forum collaborated with Fifteen Cornwall as part of their Eat Up series on a Meet the Media event, pulling together some of the biggest names in food and drink journalism. Fiona Beckett from The Guardian, Lisa Markwell from the Sunday Times, Laura Rowe from Olive Magazine and Martin Hesp, formerly of the Western Morning News.

The panel discussed all things food and drink trends, how the media had changed in their time and how it was continuing to evolve as well as how best for PRs to pitch products and stories to attract journalist attention.

Head Chef Adam Banks created a menu of canapes along with the Fifteen Cornwall apprentice chefs for everyone to enjoy with the requisite glass of bubbles!
