One of Cornwall’s best known business people and recently awarded OBE, Catherine Mead joined The Marketing Forum at Potager gardens for a live interview and vegetarian supper.
Owner of Lynher Dairies, established producer of nettle and garlic yarg, Catherine and her team developed Cornish Kern in 2017 which was soon crowned Supreme Champion at the World Cheese Awards, securing their position as one of the top artisan cheese producers in the world.
With cheeses sold nationwide to everything from small delis to national multiples as well as exporting to the USA and Australia through Neal’s Yard Dairy, Catherine shared her broad knowledge of how brand, marketing and product can impact sales.
Catherine is also chair of the Specialist Cheese Association and was chosen as one of HRH Prince of Wales top 10 Countryside Champions on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
